Walk through the front room where, during the day, old men play cards and then take a few steps down into the sunken garden. Here, local dishes like salade nicoise, dried cod, ratatouille or other typical delicacies are served on simply decorated tables. From time to time the portly chef comes out of the kitchen to ask if everything is as you wish. He runs the restaurant in the second generation and likes to talk about his mother who taught him how to cook. She still comes to the restaurant once a week. Together with her son she then makes tiny raviolis which are served with a wonderfully simple sugo.
