C.O.P. stands for Collection of Produce and is the latest project of NENI founder Haya Molcho and one of her four sons, Nuriel Molcho. Together with chef Elihay Berliner, they have created C.O.P., a place that focuses on food and the people who shape it. There is a separate wood-fired oven in which the Mediterranean dishes are cooked over an open flame. Similar to the Neni restaurants, the dishes here are meant to be shared in the Israeli tradition. From oysters to Anatolian cheese, grilled broccoli to sea bass and steak, there is something for everyone here. Only the otherwise ubiquitous Neni classic hummus is missing, and that’s a good thing. Or rather, it’s a nice change from the well-known Neni restaurants.
