Europe’s very first designer hotel. A lively atmosphere in the lobby, and the service is comfortably relaxed. No wonder the younger crowd likes it here, with many names in show business being regulars. We like the design from Sir Terence Conran, but ten years later it does seem a tad conservative. The Silver Bar, much adored by the Viennese, was copied for Robbie Williams‘ stage show- he took the copy home with him after the tour ended.
