Before checking in, you should know that the Lux Eleven isn’t a hotel with a large lobby, but a house with luxury apartments. This might sound a bit like businessmen with laptop-bags. But no, their concept aims for a new generation, who are more interested in flair and furnishing at a fair price than a reception occupied 24/7. Budget airlines have already been very successful with this concept. Cost intensive services like breakfast or a spa are not included in the price. And still you won’t miss anything.
Aveda has its cosmetic-studio on the ground floor and the Asian restaurant Shiro, with bar and café is also in the same building, where on their beautiful terrace you can have breakfast. The Shiro came to Berlin like an UFO, open terraces and the tendency towards glamour were only known previously in Los Angeles.
