Der Begriff Bastible steht für einen gusseisernen Topf, der im 19. Jahrhundert den Mittelpunkt jeden irischen Haushalts bildete. Im Bastible wird er auch heute für die Zubereitung des Brotes benutzt. Das Restaurant legt darüber hinaus großen Wert auf saisonale Produkte und wechselt je nach Angebot das Menü. Mit hohem Anspruch und viel Fantasie zaubert Chef Barry Fitzgerald köstliche Kreationen.
