At the Acero there is definitely the longest queue of the city, as soon as the first sunrays show up. Here, in the Rheingasse, the ice aficionados are indeed standing their feet in the stomach for a cup of their cold body dish, as if there were only one possibility in the whole city. But the fact is, the ice cream here is sensational and Acero scores with originality and authenticity: with its daily changing offer, freshness and regionality are guaranteed. And the speciality of the house, pistachio, is already known beyond the borders of the country for its nutty but sweet taste. By the way, Acero obtains its organic milk directly from the dairy farmer in Liesberg and pays the right milk price of 2.65 Swiss francs per litre. That’s why the ball here is 1 franc more expensive than the average. But you’re happy to pay for it.
