Bar Costa

The Bar Costa is simply a cult place and at any time of the day or night the perfect place for breakfast, a snack or an aperitif. Strong men behind the counter take the orders and prepare bocadillos and the famous and best pan con tomato on the island. The hams dangle from the ceiling and the walls are paved with art. Pan con tomato and Bocadillos are a typical snack in Spain, which is available in many variations. The queen of all bocadillos is covered with a special ham, the Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, also called Pata Negra, the most expensive, but also the best air-dried ham in the world. The pigs from which this wonderful, tasty and fatty ham is made live free-range on the pastures and eat mainly acorns and fresh herbs. It is wonderful to sit on the low stools in front of the bar between the typical Ibiza boutiques and junk shops and watch the life in Santa Gertrudis.
