When it became public that the legendary gallerist was planning on opening her first European gallery, the art world speculated whether it would be London or Berlin. Surprisingly, in 2008 Barbara Galdstone chose an 18th century building with parquet and fireplace in Brussels to display her star artists Matthew Barney, Shirin Neshat and Richard Prince.
