The Barobao is definitely out of the line in the Stockholm Gastro scene and has conquered the heart of the inhabitants of Södermalm in no time, because the Södermalmer love Baos. More precisely, Baos are small steamed Chinese Vietnamese dumplings filled with chicken, salmon or broccoli. Other dishes, such as tartar or edamame, are also on the menu. All dishes have one thing in common – Nordic twist meets Asian twist. The interior is as stylish as the menu is innovative. Plants hang from the ceiling and people eat at deep wooden tables. All in all, a sympathetic young atmosphere that couldn’t be better suited to Södermalm and brings a bit of variety. Perfect for lunch!
