The baroque church “Basilica di Santa Croce” in the Apulian Lecce, was built in more than two centuries by numerous architects. The most famous among them were Francesco Antonio Zimbalo and his son Guiseppe, who were responsible for the impressively decorated façade and entrance gate of the basilica.
