Customers have been queuing up patiently for cold-pressed organic juices at this institution since 1975. Far removed from the mainstream organics fad, David Otto has a genuine focus on the quality of his ingredients. As the cars roar down Beverly Boulevard, people enter the small, white-tiled room three by three, where the scent of wheatgrass immediately wafts over them. Classic juices include Carrot Coconut, the earthy Big Ten with beetroot, or the Mixed Greens. Also on offer are wonderful fruit combos like Apple Mint Coconut, and all the juices can be blended with a banana-almond puree and served as a smoothie. A cult following surrounds this shop.
