Pepito’s Boutique is an institution in Positano. Since the brand was founded in 1962 by Salvator Esposito, known as “Pepito”, it has stood for the best linen dresses in Italy – Jackie Onassis, who has had one or two dresses made by Pepito, also knew this. So Pepito made a name for herself in the business of equipping the rich and beautiful with summery linen dresses. But as pompous as it sounds, so simple and minimalistic do the dresses look. The only thing that counts here is the quality. So Pepito’s legendary women’s collection from 1970 is still very popular today and hangs on clothes rails all over the world. But there is only one shop in Positano, where Pepito and his wife Silvia love to roam the streets.
