The terrace with the beautiful view into the valley of the orange trees of Fornalutx would be worth it just like the authentic cuisine: it is the combination of both. An old-established family runs the restaurant in the 3rd generation and so it tastes – familiar, simple and honest – a hearty country cuisine. The specialities are meat dishes, above all the crispy suckling pig, which is served fresh from the spit every day. The cuisine is also known for its rabbits and crispy chicken. Those who want to try Mallorcan classics should try the rice soup “arroz brut” or the classic paella. The dessert was so delicious that we wanted the recipe. A moist lemon cake, a “tarta de limón”.
