Brusselers like to say that the Belga is a different café at different times of day. It is spacious like the coffee houses of yore, bedecked in wallpaper from the ‘50s and offers a wide variety of reading material and delicious sandwiches and salads at the self-service bar. Housed in the striking Maison de Radio from the sidewalk seating you can watch the ballet of street trams crossing paths on the Place Flagey. In summer this is the place to see and be seen. At night, the Belga turns into a bar often accompanied by live music. Sunday Jazz is a particular highlight.
