At Café by Dokuwa, the motto is Japan meets Italy. In just 19 square metres in the hip Karo district, the three friends Aiko, Yuki and Ken have joined forces and turned their passion into their profession. They serve delicious Japanese bento boxes and heavenly Italian coffee. Perfect for a lunch or coffee break while strolling along the market street. The boxes come with fish and meat as well as veggie options. However, attenzione, 50 boxes are prepared every morning and sold on a first come first serve basis. So it’s worth stopping by Café by Dokuwa before 2 pm to get lucky with the bento box. Then for dessert, don’t miss the coffee creations. We recommend the Floating Espresso with vanilla ice cream and a squeeze of lemon or a moss-green Matcha Tonic.
