The Café de La Place is an absolute institution and the meeting place of Saint Paul de Vence. Here you sit right in the heart of the village with a view of the boules court, where artists such as Lino Ventura and Yves Montand used to play against the locals. Since the 1920s, St. Paul has magically attracted artists and actors. Café de La Place is the best place for a morning coffee and a croissant. From here, it’s wonderful to watch the people strolling by or listen to the clacking of the boules balls.
