Just like in the old days, in Café Trieste it’s still possible to spend the whole day reading or chatting, inspired by the authors and artists, whose photographs cover the walls, or by the Beatniks who used to meet here to passionately debate the literature and lifestyle of the day. Although beginning to show its age, Trieste is nonetheless an important place to get in touch with the city.
