The Cantina 32 is a domain of hipsters, as the interior alone reveals: raw concrete, naked light bulbs and bicycles hanging on the walls. Fortunately, the dark vintage flair of the former perfume factory has been preserved, which makes Cantina 32 what it is. You won’t find this ambience anywhere else in Porto. Just as special is the cuisine – authentically Portuguese, but as with the interior, there’s that certain twist. It’s best to order some of everything and share. An absolute highlight is the tuna steak with pineapple, sesame and coriander and the salmon with mustard-orange sauce. Of course, there is also no lack of good port wine.
