Casa Xonar

Xonar in Portuguese stands for rest, sleep and dreams. And so Casa Xonar in the heart of the old town of Silves is a wonderful retreat, only a few meters away from the historical castle of Silves. The whole house is a fresh combination of vintage and modern. Portuguese design and selected, mostly Arabic-influenced works of art lead through the history of Silves – which was once the capital of the great Andalusia. A highlight is definitely the roof terrace. Here, one can not only let oneself be caressed by the sun during the day on one of the deck chairs but also gaze at the starry sky in the evenings and have a fantastic view over the whole city.
