Chez Franz is a casual meeting place that is particularly worthwhile in good weather. The terrace is perfect for a cosy sundowner (preferably at happy hour). Young people come here in droves. The atmosphere is relaxed and uncomplicated. The prices are fair. Chez Franz is a rustic pub, the food is solid and more down-to-earth than innovative: burgers, grilled chicken, small snacks. Not a gourmet experience, but that’s not the point here. It’s the authentic place with the relaxed vibes that attracts the colourful crowd. The weekend brunch and the small jam session on Sunday evenings are particularly popular.
