The Chez Firtz at Preyingplatz is the picture-book brasserie of Munich in Haidhausen. Chic waiters, small tables, dim candlelight and good wine. And of course the popular classics like Moules et Frites, Steak Frites, Coq au vin, mussels or fried beef slice with “Pommfritz” are not missing on the menu. All kinds of variations of oysters can be found on the menu, as well as lobster and bouillabaisse, which are served in the classic enamel pot. The Chez Fritz is definitely not a restaurant for every evening, but an address for a special occasion. And while you’re here, take a look at the beautiful bar, which will soon be a hundred years old and was originally imported from England.
