Chez Richard is located on a large, wonderfully lively square. So it’s best to sit outside and enjoy the Brussels vibes. The small bistro tables with matching round sets are reminiscent of French flair, and the separate oyster bar even more so. There are lots of small fish dishes here, but tartare and sophisticated veggie dishes are also on the menu. The menu changes regularly and makes every connoisseur of Mediterranean cuisine happy. And 7 days a week from lunch to dinner. The interior has plenty of style: midnight blue walls, art deco lighting, a terrazzo floor and a long, upholstered leather bench. That’s how it should be. The striking mid-blue colour is the trademark of Chez Richard. It runs through every detail – from the ‘R’ on the glass to the parasol on the terrace.
