Chez Xa has its very own youthful charm and is the oldest restaurant in town. Between the discreet sand colours of the old town ring in Saint- Rémy, it shines brightly in deep dark red. The chequered tablecloths on the small wooden veranda or the large painted mirrors, neon signs, golden, richly decorated frames and chains of lights in the interior also go well with this. The creative stubbornness is also reflected in the dishes: the likeable, charming owner Martine mixes the French cuisine with influences from all over the world to a menu around 30 € Euro. Terrine with green beans and tender anchovy fillets, served with “Gratin de la Mer” with sardines or Madras curry and a great homemade dessert as the crowning finale.
