Circolo is a charming, rather small Italian restaurant. The owner is Philip Skovgaard. He spent his childhood in Montalcino in Tuscany. He brought the flair and food back to his home country. The menu features freshly prepared antipasti and homemade pasta. These are freshly handmade every day and are a trademark of the restaurant. The pappardelle with game ragout is particularly recommended. The biggest culinary highlight, however, is the Josper charcoal grill. Fish and meat are grilled on it, giving them an unmistakable flavour. The ‘Bistecca alla Fiorentina’, an impressive steak on the bone, is a firm favourite on the menu and a delight for any meat lover. But vegetarians also get their money’s worth. Most of the ingredients in this rather modern yet cosy restaurant are sourced locally and are organic.
