The beer house Ciudad Condal is a Barcelona institution you should not miss to visit, even though it takes some patience in the evening hours. It is popular with old and young, tourists and locals. You don’t necessarily need to come here at night, as the restaurant offers exquisite dishes around the clock. If you prefer it quiet, we recommend the morning hours or in between mealtimes. It is a perfect start into the day to have a baguette and a coffee cortado here. Ciudad Condal offers an excellent ham served piled up on a plate – wonderfully greasy but super thin. To those who are planning to stay a little longer, we recommend the tables in the back.
