“Il palazzo nonfinito” – the unfinished palace, is called so as it only consists of one floor. 1949 it was bought by millionaire and art collector Peggy Guggenheim. Holding a collection of 200 paintings and sculptures it is a representative of the cross section through modern art. With artists like Picasso, Miró, Magritte, Kandinsky, Mondrian and Brancusi (and the beautiful skulpture “Bird in space”), it is a fantastic and brilliant space to wander through.
