Getting up early is definitely worth it, so that you can get to Markttreiben around nine because their apple tart is so in demand that and from ten o’clock onwards you’ll be waiting in a huge queue whilst large pieces of warm apple cake are continuously being handed out. This rustic store is quite small and you’ll sit slightly cramped at their large table – maybe with their cat, still sleepy and not in the mood to give up her chair. Most seats however are outside and when the weather is nice you can enjoy the market atmosphere from a lovely sunny spot.
