Death & Co, the bar of school friends Dave and Ravi, is known far outside the borders of their local Lower East Side for its refined cocktails. Five bartenders mix in total 53 creations, which can be enjoyed in a cosy half-darkness, either at the bar or in small alcoves which remind one of train compartments. Just as exquisite as the cocktails are the wine list and bar snacks, which range from crispy oysters to lobster brioche rolls and Filet Mignon. Latecomers would do well to factor in a waiting time of 20-30 minutes.
