Residing right by the harbor and the central train station, the Deichtorhallen (Gate of the Dike Halls) offer a richly diversified program of exhibitions. In addition, specific programs for children are offered which relate directly to the exhibitions in progress. The sprectrum of the museum is enhanced by tours, and the museum’s own newspaper reports on everything from painting classes to practical sculptural seminars geared toward various mediums and techniques.
