The Cafetière is an original gem from the 1950s. This immediately convinced the experienced restaurateur Peggy Strobel when she took over Die Cafètiere in the summer of 2023. An old coffee roastery where she offers many of the very old Viennese coffee specialties. Cafe’Cafétiere”, an espresso with orange liqueur, is her own creation. Just like “Karl Heinz”, supposedly the best ham and cheese toast in the world. The back room has been transformed into a cozy showroom. Guests sit on chairs and sofas for sale and chat in peace and quiet. A successful combination of old and new.
