The wildlife park is the destination for anyone longing for nature and tranquillity. Located around 10 km from the center of Copenhagen, it is a true nature and animal paradise. The park was founded in 1671 by King Frederik III as a royal Danish hunting ground. And royal hunts are still held here every year. Over 2000 roe deer and 1600 fallow deer strut around here. But the most impressive are probably the 300 red deer and around 100 sika deer. The park can be reached by public transport to Klampenborg, or by bike or car via Strandvejen, along the Øresund.
