The Epicerie Boucherie charmingly brings a piece of France to Cologne’s Südstadt district. The interior is a colorful mix and seating is limited and correspondingly popular. The neighborhood in particular appreciates the contents of the display case – the finest raw milk cheese, baskets of dark country bread and croissants are of course not missing. The shelves are stocked with one fine wine after another and the board above the counter explains the menu: Quiche! Four to six different quiches are on offer every day. Sometimes with bacon and onions, sometimes with salmon and spinach, tomato and goat’s cheese or savoy cabbage with quatre Èpices. But you can also indulge yourself here for breakfast and look forward to apple tart for dessert. À bientôt!
