Fischers Fritz restaurant is located directly at Lake Zurich on a camping site with the same name.You are completely wrong, however, if this reminds you of fast food and plastic chairs. Simple long wooden tables on the green grass and white umbrellas create a summery atmosphere. In case it should rain, a big white tent and sheep skins make you feel like being in a traditional cabin. This is a place for sharing tables, conversation and food. Apart from simple but excellent traditional Swiss dishes like luce Fischchnusperli (fried fish) and Swiss-style chicken, more elaborate dishes like freshwater fish sushi or sautéed bull testicles with herb butter complement the menu. Of course, the fish is from Lake Zurich and caught by a local fisherman. A wonderful place to spend a mild summer evening!
