As soon as the sun sets, the film projector starts. Film classics glimmer on the canvas while enjoying dinner on the lovely patio. Candle light flickers and many tasty dishes are served: oysters, mussels, sole with artichoke puree, honey glazed chicken with hummus or ribs with Swabian noodles and green asparagus. The wine list is good, and the cocktails are all named after films and are delicious, such as the “Barbarella” with berry vodka, rose, lemon and lavender. Foreign Cinema is a San Francisco classic for dates, that’s why you basically only see couples there. Except for at the bar, where you can order snacks like truffle popcorn in a less romantic atmosphere. On Saturdays you can also enjoy brunch here.
