What makes the Kornmesser inn on the central Kornmarkt in Bregenz different from a classic inn is the sense of the boss Michael Salzgeber for art – he also uses his restaurant as a kind of gallery. The cuisine is based on tradition and refined with Mediterranean influences – a veal escalope with porcini mushroom risotto, for example. But, the guest at the Kornmesser also comes for the classic steaks and the good schnitzels. But if you look at the early opening hours, you know that the Kornmesser also offers a decent morning pint with a pretzel.
