The best Bavarian veal sausages in town are served for breakfast only, before noon. Fresh veal sausages need 15 min. because they are pickled before cooking. Add a bretzel and sweet mustard and all the old gentlemen, and you couldn’t start the day more Munich-like. Not many tourists end up here. The Wallner family runs a butchery at superstore-hall in the southwest of the city, and you can taste that: not only the veal sausages, but also the prime boiled beef with fresh horseradish and the liver loaf are just excellent. And for that the food is low priced. The house has been an authority a longtime before the superstore was built, and today it assembles an oasis for the good old times.
