Georges Hotel

This has been a Place To Be since Alex Varlik opened the doors of this stylish and elegant hotel in 2011. Of the 20 spacious and airy rooms in the historical building with parquet floors and dark gracious furniture, many have a view over the Bosporus. You can also enjoy these, when you reserve one of the highly desired tables in the restaurant Le Fumoir, which feels like a modern club with its leather chairs and raw brick walls. Here and on the roof terrace they serve sophisticated French cuisine like Boeuf Bourguingon and sea bream-tartar. It’s also nice to come by for a lunch or just a drink at the champagne bar, where the high society of Istanbul meets.
