The Restaurant Giardino di Bacco is the right choice if you, inspired by the Italian sense of beauty, long to dress up. The inconspicuous entrance of the elegant restaurant on the main street is easily overlooked, not to be expected to conceal an incredibly romantic courtyard. The patron, Signore Trischitta, whirls around in the kitchen and service. He orders the best that sea and land have to offer. Vegetables, strictly seasonal, and meat come from local farmers. Every month the patron creates a menu with slightly modified traditional Sicilian dishes, such as the seafood carpaccio or the “Tagliatelle di Lampedusa”. To kneel down, the “Involtini di Pesce Spada” are crowned with a lemon cream, a gelato made from Bronte pistachios or almond semi-frozen. In summer you can sit in the idyllic garden under palm trees and citrus trees. But also in the walls of the old house you are in good hands thanks to stylish furnishings.
