“Gilli’s” display windows are not to be overlooked. Every passerby stops to look in wonder at the dark chocolate cake and the artistic decorations made of chocolate. “Gilli” belongs to the three most famous cafés in the city and is surely, with its gigantic terrace on Piazza della Repubblica, one of the most luxurious reenergising stations, to go to in order to raise the blood sugar levels after an art or shopping tour. The adjacent Café Paszkowski shares the same owner and square, but has a slightly different feel.
