‘We are passionate about fashion and craftsmanship. We are creative.’ Three friends joined forces to turn this unusual business idea into a reality: a small, successful label called Hafen 9. Sylt pennants made of robust linen fabrics, in every size and colour, handmade, right on the spot. The shop at Rantumer Becken is a showroom, workshop and salesroom. Right in the middle of it all: a sewing machine and a punch. The three have already developed 350 different motifs, each piece unique. Key fobs, bath time flags or simply decorative items with a statement: ‘Island love’ and ‘Wild at heart’ are the bestsellers.
