The two sisters Elena and Ana have probably the most likeable canteen in Madrid: Hermanas Arce. They cook here the way they would at home – balanced, healthy meals, prepared with love using only local KM0 products from market stalls in the neighbourhood. It’s best to pop in for breakfast or lunch. We love the sourdough bread with its perfect texture and homemade jam, but the pancakes, granola, homemade cakes and fresh salads are also delicious. When you take a seat here, you feel a bit at home, the flair is very minimalist and discreet, but there is a great deal of good vibes and passion for what is served in the air.
