The “cellar” of the Hofbräuhaus is actually a rather urban beer garden on Viennaer Platz, but even here you will find the obligatory tall chestnut trees. The wooden benches are closed-packed, and you’ll easily make friends with your neighbors. The Hofbräu beer is delicious and all of the Bavarian beer garden demands are met. There is a small playground for kids, so it suits families. The interiors are not so lovely, the Hofbräukeller is a summer location.
