Hotel Basilica

The Hotel Basilica, in the heart of Palma’s old town, is exactly what you want for a city break – a perfect urban retreat, yet right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The hotel takes its name from the 13th-century Sant Francesc church it directly overlooks. In fact, only a narrow alley separates the two buildings. The neighbourhood is bursting with charm, no wonder it’s one of Palma’s oldest, with cobbled medieval streets and quiet, shady squares. Our absolute favourite spot at Hotel Basilica is the rooftop terrace with its pool and views of the charming church rooftops. It’s a great place to put your feet up and take a deep breath after a day in the city.
