Hotel Kanalhuset

Hotel Kanalhuset is a special combination of boutique hotel, restaurant and social meeting place in the historic Christianshavn neighbourhood. The building, a former naval museum dating back to 1754, is now a warm and welcoming place. There are only 12 individually designed rooms and 14 hotel flats. The flats, which can be up to 90 square metres in size, give guests a feeling of ‘home’, ideal for longer stays or for those who want to immerse themselves in local life. A particular highlight at Kanalhuset is dinner, where guests and locals dine together at long tables in a cosy dining room overlooking the canals. The menu changes daily and there is always a vegetarian option. With the aim of strengthening the sense of community, the Kanalhuset also organises various activities such as yoga classes and running groups.
