Situated on the picturesque harbour for which it is named, the Hotel Portixol catches the eye even from a distance with its square, cubist exterior. Alongside the architecture, the hotel will win you over with its lovely location right on the water near the beach, but only 2 km from the city center. The Portixol owes its success to Johanna Landströma nd her husband Mikael who at the end of the 90s took over the hotel and with a combination of love and creativity made it into what it is today: a unique place to relax where Scandinavian clarity meets Mediterranean flair, tradition meets modernity. Spacious light-filled spaces characterize the entire hotel, from lobby and restaurant to the bar and conference and 26 hotel rooms modernly furnished in easy elegance and most with stunning views of the city and the sea.
