Hotel Pulitzer

Spain’s superstar interior decorator Lázaro Rosa Violán has transformed this former cinema into an oasis of good taste. Its lavish, chic and comfortable and warm elements like the glorious reception make this place the antithesis of design sterility. Between visiting the Sagrada Familia and stepping out on a shopping spree, you can revive yourself in one of the enormous sofas by the fire or take one last drink at the asian-style bar. In summer the rooftop terrace beckons with its view over the city, the perfect place for an aperitif. The rooms are as gracefully furnished as the rest of the hotel, although they are somewhat small in comparison to the grandeur of the foyer. But this is forgivable, given the hotel’s ideal location and affordable 4-star comfort.
