In the restaurant “alla Grotta” the menu seems to be made only for tourists, because regular guests make sure right at the table which dishes are the freshest and best every day. Most of them can’t be found on the menu. The grotta is famous for saltwater fish and seafood. The younger generation associates fish from Lake Garda as a relic from the generation of their parents and grandparents. Sea fish, on the other hand, perceive them as a sign of departure. The younger audience makes the modern atmosphere seem lively and uncomplicated.
