The design hotel Unico located in the high-end shopping district Salamanca was renovated at the beginning of the year. The bright white, refined, aristocratic residence built around the turn of the last century offers 44 very comfortable rooms. Current fashion magazines and fine chocolates invite you to lounge on the pillow-laden bed before heading to the summer terrace to enjoy the excellent cuisine of Chef Ramón Freixa, which has earned him two stars from Michelin. With its choice selection of books on design, fashion and architecture, the hotel library is also particularly noteworthy; it offers the reading guest a small buffet of croissants, fresh apples and a variety of refreshments.
