Martin Wiesner opened his Hutmacherei M. Wiesner 2005 at the Tegernsee. Martin Wiesner learned his trade in Bad Ischl and in Vienna, but his passion for hats began in his childhood. As a young boy he tried the hats of his grandfather, who was a passionate hat wearer, and discovered his curiosity for shapes, materials and different colours. Today the Hutmacherei M. Wiesner is the address for traditional hats made by traditional handcraft. In addition to hats, the boutique also sells selected products of high-quality traditional costumes for women, men and children.
