On the outskirts of Oberstdorf in the middle of green meadows you will find the lovingly furnished Käshüs. Here on the farm, the robust Allgäu brown cattle still bear horns, are fed with gene-free hay and are allowed to graze on idyllic mountain meadows. The cheese – which is made according to traditional recipes directly from fresh raw milk in the farm’s own cheese dairy – is correspondingly good. But not only the snacks are good, also the homemade cakes are worth a trip to the Käshüs.
